  1. The USB pads are located on the bottom of the Pi.

    • +5V goes to the +V of your 5V MeanWell or Buck Converter.

    • GRD goes to the -V of your 5V MeanWell or Buck Converter.

  2. Tin your wires and solder to the pads.

    • Don't apply too much heat for a long period of time. If you have an old circuit board you should practice on it if you haven't attempted this type of soldering before.

    • Secure the wires to the board. Kapton tape works great.

  3. (Optional) Install a connector between the Pi and Power Supply.
    • (Optional) Install a connector between the Pi and Power Supply.

    • Tune the voltage of the Power Supply to between 5.1V and 5.2V.

Hi, is there any way i can avoid doing this and still conect to my meanwell supply? is it possible to strip a usb C?
