I have removed that NOTE. Previous reviews and usage of the document have not uncovered that error. If you have snugged those two screws, you are probably ok with just fully tightening the other two. The snugged screws can’t escape if they loosen because of the extrusion sitting on top of them. The other two are probably enough for stability. Do what you feel is right. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I have made the corrections, including replacing the illustration with the latest version. The other place in the guides, in Frame Assembly, where this procedure occurs, again, I have also corrected. The choice of screws is up to the builder. I just tested M2 SHCS, and they sit below the rail surface, so any of the three styles will work.
Ok, I see the problem. I’ve added an extra step here to address the 100mm cross bar drilling. I’ve also eliminated mention of the drill guide when drilling the bed in the 09 guide, as it is not used.

Thanks. Corrected.
Diagram has been replaced. Fixed.

Thanks for the catch.
The fourth bullet in 01. Preparing the Frame Extrusions Step 2, says the drill guide will be used later for bed preparation.
In 09. Bed Preparation and Attachment, Step 1, speaks of the use of the drill guide to drill the required holes in the bed.
